questionWhat this stack does

Purpose

This stack is designed to provide a request → acquire → organize → stream workflow for media with a Usenet Server.

Core goals:

  • Reliable 24/7 operation

  • Easy backup and recovery

  • Modular, extensible service design

What you get

  • Plex for streaming and library management

  • Overseerr for user requests and approvals

  • Sonarr/Radarr to automate TV/movie acquisition and library organization

  • Prowlarr to manage indexers in one place

  • SABnzbd to download content for the *arr apps to import

How it’s deployed (high level)

  • Services run in containers and/or lightweight virtualization depending on the role (e.g., Plex separated for performance/permissions)

  • Media and config live on persistent storage with stable mounts

This documentation breaks the stack down into user-facing services, automation/download, infrastructure, and day‑2 operations.
